WRECKED

The first season of WRECKED was written as part of my undergraduate thesis. While I now cringe at my writing much the way I'm sure most do looking back at the projects of their very early twenties, I am very proud of the production and incredibly grateful for the experience and for the massive contributions of the crew and performers. We were able to complete a (modestly) successful Kickstarter campaign (back when you could do that) and film a second season. Both were favored by events like Hollyweb, Vancouver Web Fest, Raindance, and The Indie Series Awards, leading to my current involvement in the web series community.

sample episode

This episode was chosen to represent the series at festivals because it more or less stands alone, separate from the overall narrative of the series.

The only helpful context for the viewer to know is that the two main characters, Spencer and Thomas, have always been good friends but with Thomas more or less in control. They've been apart for a while and Spencer has grown more independent.

In classic web series style I wrote or co-wrote the series, produced it, directed the first season, edited half of the second, appeared as a character, brought the craft services, managed the SAG paperwork, &c.  I would be happy to provide contact information for actors and/or crew members who can speak to how the set was run.
